Hof van Eeden is a new-build project in Bussum we have been working on since 2023. Bussum is a villa village that grew around 1900 along the railway, with lanes, generous plots and a lot of architecture from that period. A new house or a renovation must relate to that rich context.
Since 2016 Bussum has been part of the municipality of Gooise Meren, together with Naarden and Muiden. Het Spiegel and the Brediuskwartier have been nationally protected village views since 2007. Building plans are assessed by Gooise Meren's spatial quality committee. Because we work in Bussum, we know the municipality and how plans are discussed here.
