Kennemerland has no fixed boundary, but anyone building here knows the landscape: the inner dune edge, old country estates, villa parks and the city of Haarlem. Each of these places asks for its own answer in scale, material and relation to the greenery.
The rules differ per municipality. Haarlem and Bloemendaal each have their own omgevingsplan and design policy, and both are advised by an independent committee. Large parts of the region are protected townscape. We work out what is possible for each site and discuss the design with the municipality early on.
